Privacy Policy
Effective September 17, 2026
This policy explains what Pose Perfect Pro (“the app”) does with your information. Pose Perfect Pro is published by Hashtag Media LLC (“we”, “us”).
The short version: your photos never leave your iPhone. We operate no server that receives them, and the app contains no code that uploads them.
Your photos
Pose Perfect Pro reads the before photo you select, uses the camera to capture an after photo, and writes the results you choose to save back to your photo library. Every step in between happens locally on your device:
- Outline and silhouette detection, using Apple’s on-device Vision framework
- Cropping the after photo to match the before photo’s aspect ratio
- Rendering the side-by-side composite
- Rendering the animated reveal videos
None of these operations transmit image data anywhere. We never receive your photos, cannot access them, and do not store copies. Photos you do not explicitly save are discarded when you leave the screen.
Permissions the app asks for
Camera
Requested when the alignment screen opens. Required to show the live viewfinder and capture the after photo. The camera feed is rendered on screen and used for the photo you capture; it is not recorded or transmitted.
Photo library — add only
Requested the first time you save an export. This grants permission to write new images and videos to your library. It does not grant the app read access to your existing photos.
Selecting your before photo
Photo selection uses Apple’s system photo picker, which runs outside the app. The app receives only the single image you pick, and never gains access to the rest of your library.
Analytics and crash reporting
The app includes Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics. These collect limited, non-photo diagnostic and usage information so we can tell whether the app is working:
- Crash reports — the technical state of the app when it crashed: stack traces, device model, iOS version, app version
- Usage events — anonymous, aggregate signals such as app launches and session length
- A per-installation identifier — generated by Firebase to group events from one install. It is not your Apple ID, your name, or your email, and it is reset if you delete and reinstall the app
No photo, no image, and no data derived from an image is included in analytics or crash reports.
We do not collect the advertising identifier (IDFA), do not use AppTrackingTransparency, do not serve ads, and do not track you across other apps or websites. Firebase processes this data on our behalf; see Firebase’s privacy documentation for their handling practices.
What we do not collect
- Your photos or videos, or anything derived from them
- Your name, email address, phone number or postal address
- Your location
- Your contacts, calendar, health or fitness data
- Payment information — the app has no purchases
There are no accounts in Pose Perfect Pro. There is nothing to sign up for.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent or trade your information. The only third party that receives anything is Google, as the operator of Firebase, limited to the diagnostic data described above. We may disclose information if required by law.
Children
Pose Perfect Pro is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, there is nothing for a parent to request deletion of — but if you have a concern, write to us.
Your choices
You can revoke camera or photo permissions at any time in Settings → Pose Perfect Pro on your iPhone. Revoking camera access disables capturing an after photo; you can still import one from your library.
Deleting the app removes all of its local data from your device and stops all analytics collection.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will update the effective date above and publish the new version on this page before the change takes effect.
